This tournament is open to all chess players (K-12).
US Chess membership required for all rated sections.

Format:

5 rounds Swiss G25/d5

Round Times:

• Round 1 - 11:00 am
• Round 2 - 12:10 am
• Lunch
• Round 3 - 1:30 pm
• Round 4 - ASAP
• Round 5 - ASAP
• Awards (U400 & Not-Rated) - As soon as Round 5 is complete.
• Awards (U1200, U800 & team) - As soon as Round 5 is complete.

Sections:

• U1200 – Must be rated 600 to play up
• U800 - Intermediate level
• U400 – Beginner level
• Not-Rated (max rating of 300) - This section is not rated. US Chess membership not required

Awards:

U1200, U800 & U400 individual 1^st - 5^th place trophies.
Not-Rated 1^st - 3^rd place trophies. 
Medals to all players that tie with last trophy

Team awards:
Top 2 school teams across all sections. Teammates are allowed to play in different sections!!
**Team trophies will be awarded once all sections are completed.
Teams are based on top 4 scores per team with a 2-player minimum.

Space is limited; it is strongly recommended to register online.

Entry Fee:     

• Online by 10/31 - $40
• Online by 11/7 - $50
• Day-of or Onsite - $55 – Onsite entries after 10:30am receive ½-point bye for round 1.
• *Note: $2 surcharge for all online entries.

Special Discount: US Chess Membership

Anyone who becomes a new member of US Chess or renews their membership through Wilson Chess will receive a $2 discount.

Clocks provided for U1200 section and is optional for U800
Notation is required for U1200 section and is optional for U800 and U400.
Refunds are subject to $5 processing fee.
